The First Nations Eye Health Alliance (FNEHA) has launched a refreshed website, strengthening our digital presence and creating a more accessible central place for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander eye health information, resources and national initiatives.
The upgrade reflects an important period of growth for FNEHA. As our national work continues to expand, so too does the need for digital infrastructure that can better connect communities, the eye health sector, partners, researchers and governments with our work.
The refreshed www.fneha.com.au brings together information from across our work and creates clearer pathways to FNEHA's programs, resources, advocacy and national activities.
A dedicated home for NATSIEHC
A major part of the upgrade is the development of a dedicated NATSIEHC hub for the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Eye Health Conference.
The new hub brings key conference information together in one place, with dedicated areas for the program, abstracts, awards, scholarships, sponsorship, travel and accommodation, conference updates and the continuing story of NATSIEHC.
With NATSIEHC27 taking place from 17–19 May 2027 at Adelaide Oval, Tartanya (Adelaide), on Kaurna Country, the new conference hub provides a stronger digital foundation to support this important national gathering as it continues to grow.
Bringing our resources together
The upgrade also strengthens the way FNEHA houses and shares Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander eye health resources.
Our refreshed Resources area provides a central home for important materials, including Check Today, See Tomorrow and Eye Care Now, Eye Care Always health promotion resources, alongside FNEHA reports, publications and other materials.
Centralising these resources is an important step in making knowledge and practical tools easier to find, use and share across communities and the eye health sector.
Building the digital infrastructure for what comes next
Behind the new look is a broader technology upgrade designed to support FNEHA's emerging needs as a national Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community-controlled organisation.
The new platform provides a stronger foundation for the next stage of our work, allowing the website to grow alongside FNEHA's programs, partnerships, research, policy and advocacy activities, while creating better ways to share information and connect people with our work.
Importantly, the upgrade also establishes digital foundations that can support the continuing development of FNEHA's national initiatives and our digital presence into the future.
For FNEHA, this is not simply a new look. It is part of building the organisational infrastructure needed to support a growing national role and make Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander eye health information more accessible.
Take a look
We invite our members, communities, partners and colleagues across the sector to explore the refreshed FNEHA website.
The new site provides clearer pathways into our national work, brings important Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander eye health resources together in one place, and establishes a stronger digital foundation for FNEHA's next stage of growth.
It also introduces a dedicated home for NATSIEHC, making it easier to find conference information and explore the history and continuing development of this important national gathering.
