FNEHA Announces Newly Elected Board Members

The First Nations Eye Health Alliance Limited (FNEHA) is pleased to announce the election of its new board members following the Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on Friday, 8 February 2024.

We extend our congratulations to the newly elected board members, who will be joining our Co-Patrons Aunty Pat Anderson AO (Alyawarre) and Trevor Buzzacott OAM (Arabana), Chair Jaki Adams (Yadhaigana, Wuthathi, Gurindji and Kungarakan) and Secretary Nick Wilson (Ngarrindjeri) on the First Nations Eye Health Alliance board:

  • Dr Thomas Mylne (Gangalu)
  • Telaine Cowdrey (Kamillaroi and Bundjalung)
  • Sara Carrison (Ngarrindjeri)

We also acknowledge and congratulate the re-elected board members:

  • Shaun Tatipata (Ngarrindjeri and Wuthathi)
  • Associate Professor Kris Rallah-Baker (Yuggera, Warrongo and Wiradjuri)
  • Lauren Carr (Murrawarri)

FNEHA would like to express our deep appreciation to all our members and community who attended the AGM. Your participation and commitment are the foundation of our work, and we look forward to working together to strengthen Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander eye health across the country.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to our establishment board for their dedication and hard work in laying the groundwork for FNEHA. Their leadership and vision have been instrumental in building the foundations that will pave the way for our new board members and team. Their contributions have set a strong precedent, and we acknowledge their tireless efforts in ensuring the long-term success and sustainability of our mission.
